Many meditative techniques require one to sit still and be silent. But for most of us, accumulated stress in our body and mind makes that difficult. Before we can hope to access our inner powerhouse of consciousness, we need to first let go of our tensions.

Osho Active Meditations are designed with that goal in mind.

There are 10 different Active Meditations, each of which are 1 hour in length. Each begins with 45 minutes of scientifically designed movements, performed to music, that help a person release pent-up energy. Active movements include dance, whirling, eye movements, sounds and breathe. Active movements are followed by 15 minutes of lying in still, quiet meditation. Like the calm after the storm, OSHO meditations enable anyone to enter meditation naturally once the body and mind have first been emptied of stress.
